If I remember correctly his Coach specially Told Meldrick that Fight was close and Meldrick did need to GO WAR with Chavez...:-(

Anyway it was pretty tough Fight with two tough warriors.

 

Wether his Coach told him to go to war or not, I think we can all agree Taylor didn;t have the legs, the eyes, nor the will to box around Chavez in round 12.

His eyes were almsot swollen shut, his mouth was busted up and bloody, his nose was busted and bloody, his face was fractured, his body had been beaten to a pulp, he pissed blood for two weeks after the fight, and he came out fo the fight with brain damage...I HIGHLY doubt he suffered all that because hsi "coach" told him to go to war in the 12th.....

...more like 12 rounds of a brutal ass kicking on the hands of Chavez.

 

Calderon is great the only problem is that He is a faded old fighter.

Meldrick just loved to FIGHT and that was bad idea against this tough Mexican I dont know would he have listened even if his coach had told him literally to run away for his dear life rest of the round. Meldrick loved To Fight he was too Brave...

 

If you've been on these boards long enough you would realize their are very few posters without a hidden or not so hidden biased. While Uli has an excellent grasp of the sport he will most likely never show the kind or respect and or support to a rican fighter (or any fighter of another creed) that he could pass on to a mexican pugilist. Its something I've grown to accept over the years and while it limits quality of the conversation it will never replace your zest for the sport so battle on! They have hard heads in the ring and stubborn noggins outside as well. Peace!

 

Juanma will go as far as his punch resistance lets him. unless he learns defence. He's not a great fighter but he's darn entertaining and brave. People think Gamboa will kill him but, i've seen over and over how Gamboa gets frustrated when he can't ko his opponents early. ge gets slopy and drops his hands. Go watch the salido and barros fights. He needs to Ko Lopez early or juanma will impose his will to win in the later rounds

I think the main difference between my bias and others are that I very rarely talk **** about a fighter...instead I promote my favorite fighters.

I can count the times I've talk **** about a fighter...Like Called Tito Cheato, Pac dumb, and Malignaggi Maligfaggy...That's all, and for all three I had a justified reason.

So out of all the fighters who fight my favorite fighters, I've only talked **** about 3, and light-**** talking.

There's biased fans who have gone as far as calling ATG bums for teh sake of upping their fighter.
