Simple. Just who do you like better, not necessarily who you think is better.

    Gamboa for me.

Gamboa's defence is his offence. In return he takes too many punches and has been rocked by lesser punchers. Juanma is a huge puncher and
would eventually catch him clean. Stiil a entertaining fight, and I would give Gamboa a good chance. But I will go Juanma, TKO rds. 7-9.

Gamboa. I was never sold on JuanMa at all and it seems the limitations I saw are starting to make themselves evident, even against lesser opposition. The hardcore fans chalk it up to "bad managing" or "styles matchups", but the truth is the guy is just a limited stylist. His only standout attribute seemed to be his power, which either seems to have diminished or made to look greater than it was due to his opposition.

Gamboa clearly has his defensive flaws as well, but I am more impressed by his offense than I am JuanMa's.

I'm not gonna bet against Juanma after one shoddy performance.. So i'm going to say Juanma until proven wrong.. He was fighting well in the early rounds..

Maybe part of his performance was down to not going past the 10th before..

He took some big hits and stayed standing too..

Gamboa easy, I see him knocking Lopez the **** out
I've never been impressed by Lopez, he has outsized the majority of his opponents
When he faces a naturally bigger man with the skills that Gamboa has he is going to get his brain shifted

JuanMa was holding on for dear life and was almost knocked out by a journeyman who's not known for his power. I've seen Gamboa get knocked down, but never hurt.
