FFS, judges where in the way to rob Salido big time, in order to be 66-66 on the cards, than means they were giving 4 rounds to Lopez and 3 to Salido and with the extra point of the kd the card would be 66-66....Are you kidding me, how in hell can someone say JuanMa was winning nore rounds in the fight at the time of the stoppage?? It was gonna be a HUGE ROBBERY, Pathetic !!!

that is quite surprising, indeed. but, it was a close fight, even though, most fans agree salido was getting the best of him

I know they were close rounds, but even the close rounds were clear Salido was edging the close rounds, I dont see how someone could saw different, even the moment of the fight everything was in favor of Salido, I just cant see someone giving 4 rounds to Lopez entering the 8th round...

Huge robbery in the making. Salido was in full control, even in those close early rounds he got the better of Lopez with clean effective punching. He landed the flush shots and landed more, plus did a fine job slipping most of them coming back. I only gave Lopez one round in the opening 4 and I guess the 7th based on the mini-comeback (Orlando still landed more), but 66-66 is serious hometown ****. If anyone really has any doubt that there was a clear disparity between the two, rewatch the fight focosing on Salido this time.

Were you at the fight? The fight was in peurto rico and if the rounds are close then the fans screaming probably had a little influence, it usually does. Live fights and seeing it on tv are very different.

It was the closest beatdown I ever seen.
Had it went the full 12rds, It would have been hard to imagine Salido leaves champion.

I can see that. The rounds were close enough and they were in PR so actually im surprised they had it a draw.

Just like Salido said after the fight. He needed to get that KO in PR otherwise he wouldnt win.

Man all these upsets are making me glad i stopped betting for a couple of weeks....
The only fight i bet on this weekend was Khan to stop Mcwhatever in less than 7.5 I was gonna bet on a Berto KO and a JML decision also but my phone timed out on me and i wasnt able to place it before it closed out. Ha wow. Now i no longer feel safe betting on boxing...

Safer than Socccer. I guess i should have mentioned that.
In boxing the favorite is usually a pretty safe bet. Considering robberies even insure that at times.

I do if you don't mind. The judges got away with it because it ended inside the distance but don't act like the fight wasn't heading to a robbery, I mean having it even with Lopez being knocked down and hurt in several rounds is just awful. The crowd was very unprofessional too with bottles flying all over the place, one actually hitting Showtime's commentary. In soccer commissions fine clubs seriously for unsportsmanlike behaviour, same should be done in boxing so organizers would pay attention to the crowd next time. I'm glad Salido wasn't hit when he was celebrating on the ropes.
