JuanMa-Salido Cards at the time of the stoppage: 66-66 ?? Are you kidding?

Lopez won the first 3 rounds on my card if I remember correctly. And there was a close round past the fourth which was reasonably competitive. People look from one side now that they know the outcome and they factor in all Salido's punches as "power punches".

But anyway, Salido won so I don't see a cause for complaining

 

Wasn't that bad. I would have given Lopez the 7th and the first few were close enough.

 

Lopez won 3 of the first 4 on my card(losing the second). From the 5th on was all Salido, though the 7th for the late rally may have been given to Juanma(not in my case). I had Salido 67-65.

 

Even if Salido pummeled Juanma for the remaining 4 rounds he wouldn't have gotten more than a draw. Too much money at stake for the promoters. Why the surprise? Boxing is corrupt as ****...

 

What's the big deal with this? Lopez won the first four rounds in my opinion, Salido won three with the extra point for the knockdown. That adds up to 66-66. Maybe you good give Salido another 10-8 round for the 6th but that's a stretch.

Yeah but Salido knew he was not going to get the decision which is why he went for it

 

That was my score too going into the 9th round.
This wasn't really a contest in which Lopez was outboxed. It was really a case of a stronger opponent walking him down, getting in brawls and taking him out.

 

Most judges are crooked....................
