In this article they say they havent signed because they are not really interested in fighting a guy with 12 losses( the african guy, I forgot his name). They say they want better opponent but most of them don't want to fight Juanma. Caballero wants Juanma but not only he doesn;t sale much, but Juanma would have to give 3 % of his earning to each organization. He wants at least 1 or 1.2 milliions to fight Vazquez, Marquez, or Caballero. His manager says if the company insist and make a good offer they might have to fight the African guy. By the way, Juanma is finally getting legally married to his long time "wife" the 26 of this month. I hope Lopez vs Caballero happens so after Lopez easily beat Caballero this will show that why would Lopez be afraid to fight Caballero?
I honestly feel the same way. I am not one of those crazy fans who think Juanma is Superman. I just think Caballero was very lucky to be in the right place at the right time. I think he would be a very easy fight. Juanma should look at the organization fees as an investment. Then he could go to his next opponent with 3 belts. Caballero went 12 against Ponce and received a huge gift on his last defense while fighting on his backyard. I don't think he will last long.
Juanma should just fight Caballerro and if its not Caballerro he should fight Steve Molitor a former champ at super bantamweight who Caballerro had beaten for the title I think those are the fights his camp should look at
Caballero said his willing to pay the fines and he just called JuanMa a Maricon....I dont know bout you ricans but to us Mex thats a huge insult. One thing I dont agree upon is JuanMa wanting 1.2 for his next fight, he doesnt deserve it at this point. He should atleast fight a C level fighter before putting himself out there.
For us it is also a huge insult but my problem wiith Juanma is that he puts money before everything including his rep.
that's a good call except he would KO molitor in one round if the caballero fight is any indication. Molitor won his last fight but looked awful and very scared against a c level fighter in the process. Caballero made him gunshy.
So, I guess to you Penaloza wasn't at least a class C fighter. What about the MEXICAN Ponce de Leon??????? He went 12 rounds with Caballero and lasted only a couple of minutes against Juanma. I am not saying Juanma is going to beat them(maybe) but OF COURSE he deserves Marquez or Vazquez.
