Juanma talks about fighting Gamboa

In espndeportes.com Juanma sopke to Diego Morilla of espndeportes and told him he wants to fight Gamboa. He said the reason why he went to see Gamboa fight in Atlantic city is to support him in his fight because if they both are going to fight they must stay unbeaten. Like wise Yuriorkis Gamboa promised to go to Puertorico to watch Juanma fight against Orlando Salido on April 16. He says Gamboa is a smart man and knows that boxing is not just a sport it is also a business and Gamboa keeps saying Juanma doesn't want to fight him because he wants to speed up the process of them fighting. That's why Juanma got in the ring and said he wants to fight Gamboa when ever. The problem is that Juanma being Puertorican has a bigger fan base than the cuban superstar so arum is focusing on increasing Gamboas popularity therefore the money that will come in. Juanma says he wants to fight Gamboa because he knows that they are both the best the division has to offer. That being said he is not afraid of Gamboa, he said Gamboa was in superb shape and won in an impressive way but Gamboa did not surprise or impress him in any way. He said he doesn't want fans to mis interpret him he knows Gamboa has skills but Gamboas threat is his speed which he knew all along.The only thing that caught hius attention was that Gamboa was level headed and was more calm at first compared to other fights. Honestly I must agree with Juanma Lopez other than Gamboas speed and power there is nothing else to be impressed with since in my opinion Juanma has better all around skills.

 

hey garfios are you my new hater? lol i just state facts but your patriotism won't let you see that. Gamboa is an exciting fighter and I never said he sucked if i did i would be blind. All I'm saying is as good as you say he is his boxing abilities are not better than Juanma Lopez which is why in espn deportes Juanma said that Gamboa doesn't impress him because his lethal weapon is speed thats it. Obviously he forgot to mention Gamboas power but maybe he feels they are even in that department. If you read my other posts you would know that I expected this fight to have a re-match maybe even a trilogy because juanma won't have an easy night and gamboa won't either and this fight will be amazing but weather you want to see it or not in my opinion and even boxing analysts say juanma's boxing and defense is much better im just stating facts. Once again i'm not a juanma or gamboa fan i call it like i see it. People need to stop confusing amazing out of this world speed for boxing skills is not the same thing. You amuse me though like i said i won't argue with a que bola acere who is just blinded by patriotism. wait viva castro or muera castro? lol ha ha ha
