Good move, now he needs to move up to 135/140. He's been killing himself making the weight for too long & thats why he's looked so **** lately imo.

Hope so but I think it is too late.

i dunno man you can only work with what you've got and what Diaz will have is likely damaged goods. always liked the kid but it be what it be

Great move, Pedro Diaz is an excellent trainer & motivator.
(It's Juanma's chin tho that is the problem)

The problem with any chin is that if you have no defense it will get exposed and JuanMa had horrible defense ..Pedro should help out ..

Diaz is a good trainer but he can't help that glass jaw that JuanMa has.

Part of me saying that it's to late to resurrect his career since those battles with orlando salido took a lot out of him. After those fights he has never been the same fighter and against Mikey Garcia is was quite clear that he doesn't go it anymore. I think Juanma is trying to turn to a different trainer for help and I think he can improve under Pedro since I believe Cotto looked good with Pedro but only time can tell when Juanma faces a legitimate opponent again to see if things does improve or things go south again.

Against Garcia he looked like a shop worn veteran on the downside ..For Pedro he may need to work nothing short of a miracle ..
