WBO featherweight champion Juan Manuel Lopez is less than a month away from making a defense of his title against Bernabe Concepcion on July 10 in Puerto Rico. Lopez is a big favorite to win and although there is already a tentative fight scheduled against Rafael Marquez on September 18, he is not overlooking the challenge of Concepcion, who Lopez described as a "hungry" fighter with power....................I LIKE JUANMA IN THIS ONE,ESPECIALLY MAKING HIS FIRST TITLE DEFENSE IN HIS HOMETOWN, SHOULD BE A GOOD & EXCITED BOUT,BUT LOPEZ SHOULD WIN BY KO!

If anything, Mtagwa was a much bigger risk than Concepcion. This is a test and if JuanMa doesnt pass with flying colors he doesnt belong anywhere near Marquez and should fight Caballero.

how do you figure? Mtagwa came in really light and was coming off a war at a lighter weight. Mtagwa had already been figured out before, its just Juanma couldn't handle him.

If JuanMa loses to Concepcion they aren't going to feed him to Caballero. And they won't fight him if he wins, either.

is not that lopez couldn't handle, if you notice in the fight lopez was handling roger with no problem in the first 6 rnds, is just that from the 8 rnd on he decide to trade with him, juanma also stated that going into that fight he had to work hard just to make the 122 pnd limit thats the reason he tired down the strech, but at 126 he said he feel strong and conftable............you'll see how easy he dispose of bernabe!
