I have little doubt of the outcome of this fight.

This appears to be your typical passing of the torch, kinda like DLH-Chavez.

    Juanma by TKO.

Passing of the torch is the intention of this fight nothing more nothing less.

It does seem to be a passing of the torch. But Juanma cannot go in there cocky because Rafa can punch and he's shown to be a warrior and Juanma has been hurt before. Hope Juanma pulls it off but he's gotta be careful and keep his emotions down and fight an intelligent fight and not go for the KO, just let it happen.

Juanma is the clear favorite due to his youth and talent but an opponent with a big punch, veteran experience, ring smarts and very sound technical skills isn't exactly an easy night for someone whose been as periodically troubled/hurt as Juanma unless Rafa is shot to pieces which isn't a guarantee.

He's going to have to take that torch from out of his hands.

I don't see this being too competitive, sadly. Marquez is too small at the weight, hasn't got the required punch resistance and will be outworked before getting stopped.

Shame but I can't see any other option. I would absolutely love Marquez to win though.

juanma better tighten up his D.......dont think he can afford to take to many flush shots from rafa and get back up. but if he can, long night for rafa.

Yeah, JuanMa just might be too big for Rafa at this weight. Rafa does have the skillset to exploit some of Lopez defensive flaws, but at this weight JuanMas attack is fierce!

I think Lopez has a really good chin, despite the Mtagwa fight. I think it was more the result of a long, grueling bout than anything else, honestly. A lot of people talk about the Gamboa fight, like the first to land will win but I think Lopez is far tougher than that.

i agree, i also think he has a good chin. a lot of times i just think he lets the crowd get to him and he gets careless. you can only afford to do that so many times. and against rafa is one of those times that he cant afford too!
