If this is true, then good ****.

JuanMa is being brought along like a truely world class fighter, who can talk about future big fights while keeping his head straight and taking care of the lead up fights. If Lopez does ko Rafael (which is NO gimme there) then I think his skill level will have ascended enought to tko/ko a great boxer like John.

But John will deff not be a pushover (I don't think anyway) and will probably keep it close on the scorecards until late, when I would assume JuanMa would have worn John down enought to score a ko.

If he k.os both marquez and john early (not saying he will do that even tho I don't rule it out) .. where do u rank him p4p as far as punching power goes?

I'm intrested in knowing how top rank preparing Gamboa for a show down with Juanma when one guy is fighting top contenders and snatching straps while the other is basically basking in his own hype. Someones being setup but I'm not fully sure who is just yet...but I have a hunch.

JML is not gonna get past Rafa first of all so no John fight for him.

Rafa is going to win the first fight calling for a rematch. JML will win the 2nd fight and possibly the 3rd.

I truly believe we will get a trilogy out of this. From what i saw Saturday Lopez is much too open for Rafa not to land and we all know Rafa has those quick slashing punches which will cut you and stun you. Lopez doesnt even have the greatest chin either so im going with a Rafa decision or possible late stoppage.
If a guy like Bernabe can put Lopez down and hit him with his wild shots what makes you guys think Rafa wont be landing his own quick and precise punches.

This is going to be an awesome fight in which both guys go down but will more than likely go 12.

I dont even think JML would beat John either. And he for sure will never beat Gamboa.

You forgot to add shaky chinned/leaky defense to your description of Juan Ma.
Thats really the only reason I see Rafa taking it.

Last time out Rafa looked very sharp with his punches and quite a bit of power on them too. He definately impressed me. Hell even Vasquez looked sharp his face just didnt hold up. Rafa doesnt have that problem.

Juanma is a true fighter he goes for the best

Gamboa must really be sitting there with his thumb up his ass

he has been WBA bull**** champ for how long and he never challenged John

looks like Juanma is stealing his thunder

I favor John vs Juanma but Juanma hits hard enough to pull it off

Agreed, but didn't Trinidad also have a leaky defense, not so strong chin and horrible balance?
