You do know im going by more than his last fight right? Or was that the first time JML got hit? You know he has a leaky defense. Everyone does unless ur in denial.
This would be great if it happens, for Juanma, Chris John and for the FW division. However, I find it extremely unlikely that this fight will happen, firstly because of the aforementioned Bobfather bull****, and secondly because Caballero has stated that Chris John's management team are VERY strange. This second point could be overruled if it was said just because Pelenchin was having a tough time getting a fight with John (like he does with the rest of the FW division), or if Caballero's team even began discussions with John's team. But, if those doubts don't come to fruition, then I am extremely excited for this fight, as I am with all of Juanma's and Gamboa's fight before their showdown. Side note: It's great to see both fighters continue to stay active, despite being in a day and age when top fighters really don't stay active.
It's hard to judge from one fight but the Mtagwa fight showed us he's got plenty of it. He was literally out yet hung in there. Kind of like when Cotto fought Torres. We'll see what happens though...
Looks like Arum is trying to get JuanMa to win Fighter of the Year. 4 fights in a year damn! That would be crazy, but JuanMa has to get by Rafa Marquez first, and he has to take limited damage as well if they want JuanMa to fight Chris John in December.
Exactly that was against Mtagwa. I mean he held up but it was against a guy who is not exactly a hard puncher and was also exhausted. If he is hurt by Rafa the finish will be clinical. Its not going to be wild haymakers. So he has to keep composed and not flail all over the place. Giving up would be easier.
What? You mean like illegally wrapping his hands and then retiring after he gets his ass kicked the first time?
Here's a quote from Nazim Richardson that should shut you Tito haters the **** up.... "To me, Trindad's situation was much, much different than Margarito's. What Trindad did was actually legal in some places. It just wasn't legal in New York. I had the rulebook with me right there in my hand." "Trinidad was an abrasion against the rules. Margarito downright had a weapon. There is a difference when you say you're playing chess and have your men lined up differently, as opposed to having extra men on the board. Margarito tried to bring extra men. He had a knuckle pad. Margarito had a strip over the back of his hand, around his thumb and wrist. They told me it was because of a previous injury was why they wrapped it that way. One look and you could tell it wasn't right."
yea, but he is vacuuming right around caballero who has his feet up on the couch, watching tv in the living room. here is pelenchin and jeff mayweather on juanma's fight yesterday http://www.celestinocaballero.com/boxingnewsandarticles.htm
Wow that wuld b xcellent if it came off...I wuld pick JuanMa over John but that's IF he cn get by Rafa, who i feel will give JuanMa a tough time. I do think that if Rafa doesn't land sumthing meaningful early the war scars will show in the later rounds and JuanMa will get the win TKO/UD
well you wrote from what i saw saturday so that means you're going by that if not next time learn how to write your thoughts a lot better.. besides the only time he's been seriously hurt was against mtgwa in every other fight he has completely dominated his opponent :hat
