Dessimate who? :rofl Brother, if you are really a boxing fan you know that styles makes fights right? So, the only thing Salido did was that he prevented Gamboa from looking great and stopping him in an spectacular way. Either way, Gamboa won " super easy " even though they took away 2 points and he was also knocked down with that flash knock down.

Tell me, " what did John accomplished as an amateur boxer??? :huh

Gamboa's amateur experience is miles ahead of John and even though it's the pros it still counts tremendously in the pro ring. Gamboa's great amateur career will be the determing factor against John, a fighter that even though is very technical, does'nt have the KO power, the speed nor the skills to keep up with the Cyclone from Guantanamo.

Advice: Watch for Gamboa to starch his upcoming opponents in a more espectacular fashion, he will defeat them all including John, Lopez, Rojas, Caballero or whoever. Gamboa's only real stiff challenge will be Cuban Guillermo Rigondeaux ( mostly because of his vast amateur pedigree ), aside Rigondeaux, Gamboa will not lose! It's that simple, and it's very probably that Lopez's style is taylor made for Gamboa's speedy countering. :good

 

still think juan ma can and will beat gamboa. will be an amazing fight regardless

I seriously think Rafa is done, as much as I like him as a fighter I think too many wars (vs Izzy) and the step up in w8 is gonna b too gr8...look for JuanMa to catch him mid to late rounds. As for the thread title, I see Gamboa gettin whooped in a very entertaining fight where both guys touch the canvas atleast once

i feel opposite tbh. i fell rafa is finally gonna step out of his brothers shadow and establish himself as a top p4p contender.

lopez is very very good, but he hasnt fought anyone as good as rafa. rafa has fought better than lopez.

 

There are just too many question marks around 'Juanma' for me to not think he's going to get destroyed by Rafa.
