Juanma vs marquez:could the 4 pounds,be the difference in the fight?

    Could the 4 pnds affect him in the fight? He's going up in weight to challenge a strong fighter in juanma,can't he be able to handle juanma's power, it he can this fight could turn-out to be a classic.......................thoughs!!

    The problem is that Rafa, a much better boxer than Izzy, couldn't do much at 122 to stop Vazquez making it a war, which ultimately decided the outcome of the trilogy. And Izzy was a relatively small 122-er whereas JuanMa is a big 126-er, combine that with Marquez being 35 (more like 39 after the wars), and you'll get exactly the same result Top Rank match-makers came up with.

    And that is why this fight is happening.

    If it does make a difference I dont believe it will be a great difference, the thing we have to look at is juanmas weight come fight night, expect him to be in the upper 130's. Juanma early stoppage

    Yup huge difference. 118 to 122 and you saw the difference. Now at 35 fighting a big young guy at 126 with that kind of power.
