BTW I'm going with a Juanma KO, i just think he bangs too hard for a fading marquez moving up.

TR are masters of feeding young lions coming up to old, faded great fighters. They did it with so many fighters like Oscar, Manny et al. over the years. And this is just another one.

For me Rafa Marquez is on the edges of being washed up, the question is does he have one last great performance left in him ala the great Erik Morales in the first Pacquiao fight? because if he has then JuanMa is in for a tough night as Marquez is the better fighter and a couple of years ago would've schooled him.

I'm not totally sold on JuanMa, although i'm a fan. He has a lot of flaws, but he'll be to young and explosive for Marquez. I think Lopez will force a stoppage around the 8th/9th round. One thing about the Marquez brothers, even though they're very good technicians, they''re not hard to find.

  4. I think Rafa has one more great performance in him. I think he takes Juanma the distance and wins clearly.

Said it before. Could go either way. JuanMa has better technique, but Mex-PR is often not a great technical boxing exhibition but an all-out war, which could well play into Rafa's hands as JuanMa's chin is crackable and he can often get dragged into a slugfest against his own interest.

Lopez UD, but no outcome would really surprise me.

Im picking Juanma to win via KO. Rafa has been stunned a couple of times by Vasquez and how more Juanma..

this fight will not reach the 12th round.

I'm tipping Lopez mid-rounds KO. Think it was a telling quote from Lopez about Marquez "He says I have no chin. But I've seen him hurt and he's been knocked out 4 times with 5 losses. I'll see if his chin can hold up to what I give him."

That's what I'm thinking. At best, Marquez will survive to a decision loss.

Juanma KO. Not sure when, as it's hard to judge how much Rafa has left after the 4th Vasquez fight.

Problem is Vasquez was imposing his will and power on Marquez and was winning b/c of it. JML is even bigger then Izzy and probably punches harder. I would not put JML's will power near Izzy though. Should be good fight...i'm going with the young Puerto Rican banger.
