I agree on one point. Looking beyond Marquez could be a very costly mistake. But if Juanma manages to win, he could fight John. I think there is more money fightin John than fighting Caballero. Caballero just doesn't sell.

Arum has taken a lot of **** about his statement about other promoters not developing a fighters fan base, just living off the TV money without considering its merit.

Chad Dawson. Paul Williams. Why don't these guys sell tickets? TV money is not the only source of revenue in a fight. Like it or not, TOTAL revenue comes into play when a promoter sets up a fight. (Especially the promoter's cut) If Caballero brings in less money than someone else at higher risk why fight him? This supposed 'fan forum' is rife with guys that boast they won't by a ticket or PPV and will watch an illegal stream instead. Probably the most vocal about not getting the match ups they want too.

There are a lot of Indonesians in certain US cities such as LA and John could sell out smaller arenas.

Why can't Juanma fight Caballero in Puerto Rico? That **** would sell for sure, just for Juanma alone....It also be funny to see Caballero whoop Juanmaricon in front of all his people :yep

The manager shouldn't do this. That's unfair to John. He'll never get a fight with Lopez if Lopez has to fight Cab first. I'm not sure TR would put JuanMa in there with John anyway, so it may be a moot point.

The point is Caballero wants a cut of what Juanma sells since he can't sell tickets on his own. At least that is the working theory on why Arum won't make the fight and 'carry' Caballero.

Or if Martinez beat Williams in a rematch. If Lopez beats John and Montiel beats Donaire then you have three worthy candidates. I think Hasegwa is a brilliant fighter and Montiel should be given alot of credit for the victory.

he still won the fight.. most fighters have an off night but usually they lose.. juanma had his off night and still won and has looked impressive after that.. you're still hanging on a fight he fought three fights ago i guess you cant talk about his recent fights or the fights before mtgwa because it wont serve your purpose of hating on a great fighter
