I beleive it was scrapped because the card they were under did not come trhough. Too bad too I really wanted to see that.

    Cancelled.

Rocky Juarez seems set to meet up with Yuri Gamboa and Barrios is apparently in contention for an open July HBO fight.

    Rocky will be beaten again.

Slow as snail, watching him is very, very, very frustrating. Especially against a lightning-quick and slick boxer.

Can he just retire and save us from his boring, painful fights?:dead

What Juarez lacks in speed he makes up for in power and technical skill. He has a high guard and I think he has enough pop to get through Gamboa's leaky defense at this point. With that said, I believe Gamboa has the time to improve such said defense and I really hope he does as that is the one ***** in his armor.

I can't even see him landing a lot of those bombs against Gamboa.

Too slow for Gamboa. Too slow for an aging MAB. Too slow for JMM.

I bet Barrios is faster than him.

Why this guy gets a lot of world title shots is beyond me.

BArrios would have been the right guy to match up against Juarez.. Juarez in his losses and close wins they had to do with one thing......... him being outworked.... Barrios has the ability to outwork him, but BArrios is also a banger.. Juarez has shown a good chin, Barrios has shown some good fist... But Barrios also shown that he can be hurt and stopped... Juarez has shown that he can hurt and stop u.... This could have been the show stealer...

It sucks that their fight was canceled, it would have been exciting as hell and Juarez has never been put in with a pure pressure fighter before so it would be interesting to see how he would react.

Juarez would be a good step up for Gamboa at the end of the year.

I'm excited to see Juarez/Gamboa as well, I'd consider ordering ODLH/Floyd if it was on the undercard like the rumor had stated.

I hope it won't be. There's no way I'm supporting that joke of a main event.

I hope Barrios will still fight this year.

Always an exciting fight to watch, however crude.

This would have been a good fight and I think Barrios would've won. I'd like to see it still come off. I thought Valero taking on the winner of this when he fights in Texas wouldve have made a lot of sense. As for Juarez-Gamboa, big difference in experience but Juarez is made to order for Gamoa style wise. That's a good fight as well.
