kahn is a good boxer and he's got some toughness to him. prolly more toughness then judah i think, im rooting for judah but im picking kahn to win a ud hope im wrong though.
judah is such the great puncher and finisher these days he has all of 3 ko wins in 6 1/2 years :deal 2006 NO KOs 2007 NO KOs 2008 NO KOs 2009 Ubaldo Hernandez TKO2 (Hernandez has 19 losses) 2010 Jose Armando Santa Cruz tko3 (unranked and 3rd loss in 6 fights) 2011 Kaizer Mabuza TKO7 (judah hands Mabuza loss # 7) judah isnt finishing anyone early in this fight....
How many "quality" opponents does Khan have since you want to compare resumes? El Chino Maidana and who else? Remember Zab was the man back in 01 or 02 when he took on Tzsyu and we saw what happened when the young guy came in and thought he was untouchable.
I dont think Kahn is very skilled at all comoared to the elite fighters in the sport, he is more physically gifted than most though with the exception of his chin, Judah will exploit his technical flaws win or lose.
Define tough. Because I would consider it tough getting knocked the **** out by Prescott and still getting up wanting to continue, also pretty tough taking huge shots from Maidana and staying vertical.
It's already defined in the first post of this thread. Tough - Clottey, Cotto, Baldomir, Tszyu Someone who's very hard to crack.
Khan is neither, but Zab isn't the same fighter he once was. Not that he was ever great, but he's slowed down in recent years and hasn't looked too good even in his wins. I'm not counting Zab out, Khan is extremely flawed, but I still think Amir outworks Zab and wins a UD. I consider it a 65/35 fight.
Amir's high workrate and speed will win him rounds. What I'm worried if he gets tagged with something big. Zab might finish him off if that happens. Khan is a bit vulnerable.
Maidana is tough but not too skilled, a decent enough finisher could have had Khan out of there. Judah is skilled but not tough, so after 4 or so rounds of coping with Khans speed and workrate, mentally he will start to erode.
Slick - defensively adept, will usually fight with low hands, good at counter-punching, excellent reflexes, someone who can land but not get hit, and of course brilliant technically, and very accurate.
