    cotto's opponents combined record:

    729-152-16 (6 undefeated)

now compare that to ricky hatton:

    940-383-65 (2 undefeated)

You know just as good as me that the headbutts of shane mosley, hopkins' dirty tactics and floyd's forearms have ten times less impact then a powershot/uppercut to the groin. Everybody who has ever felt/got a decent punch there knows how it feels. Let alone that hard of shot from Cotto:-(

I know it's all done and the past but if there was justice in boxing then Zab should have won by DQ. That is what I think.

    hopkins always repeatedly hits low,

fair enough a low blow from cotto would hurt but the first low blow landed on the side of the leg, and what about the low blows zab landed on cotto that didn't get caught, there was a poster here who made a video about it.

Zab had Miguel wobbled and bleeding torrentially from the first round, left uppercut that had Cotto nearly out in the first minute, left counter in the third that made him his legs look like jelly fish, incredible powerful combo in the seventh and those are just some moments... Zab never did anything to Cotto, you gat to have a lotta nerve!

Why mention my name into this?, idiot.
You can search and see for yourself, Floyd called Hatton first at the time, was turned down then Cotto and BOTH had the same reasons. "THEY WEREN'T READY", go look it up. Funny how desperate a fool like you is, from Margarito to Cotto now. :rofl

Cotto wasn't rocked but that ****er was buzzed for sure and he needed to gather himself. Whatever...>Cotto still passed his test against Judah and it was impressive. However.....Cotto still had a hard time with Judah and Judah made it his toughest fight up to that point....the hardest fight for Cotto no doubt has been against the Great Shane Mosely. Cotto is a talent and hard to beat fighter but he stands about as good as chance to beat Floyd that JLC or Hatton had. I'd love to see the fight b/c I think even in a loss this would do wonders for Cotto as a fighter....as I think Hatton is probably better by taking on Floyd...even though he lost.

Zab sure did buzz Cotto no doubt about that. But then again Zab pretty much buzzes everyone he fights due to his power+speed. The low blows where questionable and the second low blow came at a moment in the fight when both men where quite stable. Zab does a small hop and keeps his forearm under Cotto's head add that to Cotto's semi uppercut style of body attack and out comes a low blow.

To be honest with you and I mentioned this before Cotto's was headbutted intentionally causes a large gash above his eye by Judah and was low blowed while the ref was breaking the two up "intentionally" yet the little ***** who say's he lost respect for Cotto failed to mentioned these clearly intentional tactics by Zab. All Cotto did was shrugg his shoulders and keep fighting.

and most of you are right, cotto hardly ever ever calls out people...but if you got a maxboxing account...there is an interview, and i think it's from like a year and a half ago.....he say's that he is ready for the top dogs like ricky hatton and floyd mayweather.....doug fischer later on printed the interview and posted it up on maxboxing....

some way some how it got to floyds ear (as alot of **** that doug and steve say or print)...and after that, all we started hearing was that cotto was too green.....

i'm just happy that floyd has mentioned cotto now, it aint about ducking or running from nobody...if floyd thinks NOW that cotto deserves a shot, than give it to him...but dont give us boxing fans false hopes

Cotto is good, but he will loose to Floyd.

Floyd will even KO Cotto. He'll do everything Mosley did, without getting hit by the Cotto counters (Floyd doesn't admire his work the way Shane does).

    Floyd KO 8
