I didn't take that way of counting into consideration... wonder how many times they count B-Hop, Taylor, RJJ and Wlad as champions if they count that way!?
Just wondered if Sweet P knows what he's doing, good fighters don't always make good trainers. And why can't I make a thread about boxing that doesn't fit into the exposed/pwned/excuse category? And lol at Judah saying he thought he was getting a standing 8 count despite the fact he was on his hands and knees. Not the tastiest sandwich at the picnic is he.
Judah looked fit, confident, and built a sweat b4 the fight he moved well and set up his chances to punch but didnt i think he lost all confidence after round 1 maybe the head butt did it i dont know in the corner you could see he didnt look at pernell he didnt follow his instructions he told him fire the left use the uppercut right hook to the body.... judah looked afraid to punch cause he was afraid to get hit Khan fought a perfect fight jab and stay tall when throwing a combination he immediatley put his hands high and stepped out of the way Judah fought like the Mabuza fight where he threw sparingly and got away with it then cause he wasnt fighting Khan i called it by saying Malinaggi fight all over again saying Judah was too small its what played out
Judah started his training camp 2 weeks after Khan so no he did not over train he just got schooled by a much better and smarter boxer....Props to Amir Khan.
Khan fought the perfect fight and followed Roach's game plan beautifully. Judah just couldn't get off because every time the counter opportunity was available Khan was already out of range again. It was a stellar performance by Amir, and I think he beats almost every boxer/counter puncher around his weight class. His style seems to be perfect for dealing with them.
It's funny. Just moments before the fight, both Kellerman and Steward both agreed that Judah would be Khan's most legit, most difficult fight available. Then they talked up his connection with Conte. LOL.
