"I am willing to gamble everything on this fight against Mosley and I know I have to win it to set my career back on the winning path. I respect Shane as a great fighter but I know he can't go 12 fast rounds with me. I plan to take him into deep waters and be the first one to stop him." -- former welterweight champ Zab Judah, on his plan for fellow champ Shane Mosley when they meet May 31 (HBO PPV) at Las Vegas' Mandalay Bay. This is coming from a guy that's good for about 5 to 6 rounds. Funny!
Zab just says stupid **** to hype a fight. Why is this guy coming off 3 straight losses pretty much in a PPV fight ? Those bums he decisoned really dont count for much.
I think Zab misunderstood ............ He thinks he's fighting Suger Jay Mosely. He's gonna be shocked when Suger Shane is walking to the ring. He'll start saying " This is all Don Kings fault.... He told me Im fighting Suger Jay Mosely.
Funny - then he's going to shout out "BROOKLYN" after the fight. Zab gets KTFO in this fight. Watch! I just can't believe he said that Shane can't go 12 FAST rounds - when Shane just did 12 rounds with Cotto and Judah couldn't make it that far.
he does need the win. he still is bout 29 or 30 and can maybe get some gold after this fight. but if he loses then i dont see how he can come back. im rooting for him though
PS...... Didnt Forrest stop Mosely ????? So how is Zab gonna be the first to do it. Maybe he knows Marty Mcfly.
He was close to stopping Mosley in the first fight but Sugar hanged on in the 2nd round, survived and was outclassed the rest of the way. The rematch was much closer and very boring (a fight in the crowd got people attention more then the fight in the ring) Mosley has never been stopped.
As a big Mosley fan - you should have seen my face when that Uppercut landed. Pure shock and dissappointment - never thought I would feel that way about any fight and there I was. :admin
well a combo of the uppercut and clash of heads . it was really the first time mosely was cut and ever really hurt in a fight
Did anyone else here notice how Judah compared his fight with Cotto to Mosley's? He said something like "when Mosley fought Cotto, Cotto came out looking unscathed (i forgot how Judah put it exactly) but when i fought Cotto he came out looking like he'd been through a meatgrinder". Funny how he neglected to mention that Cotto beat Mosley by a razor-thin decision and beat him by a brutal 11-round beatdown.
