So battle of the underachievers? I think judah outboxes him at his best. He gave a prime floyd one of his closest decisions. Judah had great hand speed, good power, god ring iq. Broner even at his best rarely let his hands go and wasnt hard to hit. He could be lackadaisacle and used a half assed philly shell.
I'd pick Judah. Despite his flaws he did manage to turn in a handful of performances where he was focused and dialed in for the entire fight, like against Terron Millett, Micky Ward, and Cory Spinks. Later on he also fought well in beating Kaizer Mabuza, who I considered a major obstacle for the aging Judah, especially after Mabuza looked so good in forcing Kendall Holt to quit. Zab would be the sentimental favorite for me as well, since he was always willing to fight the best, while Broner elected to pick and choose easy fights that satisfied his risk/reward calculations, while netting low hanging fruit for title at the same time.
Kind of an insult to Zab. Love or hate him, he was in a different league than bum ass Broner. Prime Judah gives Broner an ass whuppin.
