Zab Judah vs. Kaizer Mabuza. March 5 @ Prudential Center in Newark. Tickets around $50-$200. PPV is only $29.99. An overall good card with some young talent on the undercards. Sadam Ali from Brooklyn. 11-0 (6). Good young prospect. And Tarvis Simms 26(11)-1-1. For those that attend live, Welterweight, Vinny O'Brien, makes his pro-debut. An excellent amateur who won the Golden Gloves in 2010 and has a big local following. A fight's a fight. If you're from the area, you should go out to support the local fighters. PPV is reasonable, too. Zab is ready to make noise at 140, but Kaizer is a beast who you shouldn't sleep on.

I'd consider the PPV, but HBO's card blows it out of the water.

    :good

Sadam Ali is a quality prospect. Hopefully he gets a halfway decent dance partner this time.

Tarvis Simms, however, is not "young talent". He's pushing 40. :yep His one claim to fame besides being the "brother of Travis" is making Allan Green look really, really bad (but then, Green does that himself to some extent every time he climbs through the ropes).

i think mabuza has a good chance to spring the upset
zab has had trouble recently with mabuza-type fighters like clottey and matthyse

Yes. LOL Tarvis is definately not young talent. But the untelevised fights do have some.

Definitely can Mabuza as a Clottey-type. Good call.

He strikes me more as an Isaac Hlatshwayo type, which is funny because Kendall Holt beat the **** out of Hlatshwayo yet got stopped by Mabuza..

Decent scrap. Mauza will proabably beat Zab but will get robbed on the cards.

I intend to go, it's live boxing and local. Main Events usually puts on a solid show. Hopefully they put ALI in against a live body, I've seen him fight a few times but he's could've stepped up a little a few fights ago. It's also at a newer smaller venue at the PruCenter. Hopefully the price is right for me to go.
