How about this fight? Maidana will be going back to 140 and Zab is waiting on Khan/Peterson winner. Zab could fight Maidana inbetween.

Clever match-up for Zab, I reckon.

Maidana doesn’t seem to be the same beast he once was, and Zab could knock up a decent performance against him and redeem himself a little against those who say he has no heart. Because Maidana will be seen as someone who will push him all the way.

Zab by UD or 10th round tko.

Maidana is terrified against fast fighters.

If they were to fight, and Zab were to win, I reckon it would be his best win ever. Arguably better than the win against Spinks.

I would pick Zab Judah by decision.

Judah hits harder then him and maidana is easyer to hit with the left hand

  9. Judah starts well but Maidana weathers the storm comes on strong late and Judah wilts, Maidana TKO/KO.

(Also, this would be a great matchup right now)

Also, Maidana doesn't seem to do that well against southpaws. I know his best win was against Ortiz, but in that he showed how vulnerable he can be - especially to right hooks.

Something is off with Maidana. He doesn't look 100 mentally focused.

  13. His last two fights wernt his greatest thats for sure, I think he should have stayed with Miguel Diaz firstly, hes not the type of fighter who needs fixing up he relies on his awkward brawling style, secondly I dont think he prepared like he should of for Morales, and he had no business at 147 IMO, he makes 140 comfortably and should stay there.

Funny thing, Zab was suppose to be washed up and he beats a big mouth fighter and now he is on top of his game? Can we spell bandwagon. Anyway, I would still like to see this fight. If Zab uses his speed and movement and tags him here and there, he could win. It would be such a confidence builder prior to a title fight.

  15. I dont see how you can pick Judah to win this fight, bar a huge left uppercut right on the button he doesnt have enough to hold Maidana off him, Judah can not handle pressure fighters, once Maidana starts coming on and roughing him up Judah will loose composure and the will to win and quit.
