118 to 11 for mayweather. Judah looked sharp early on. A few close rounds that went to mayweather due to a lot of inactivity from Judah. When he did something it counted, but there wasn't enough of it.

I can see why some may have used this fight as evidence of PAC being dangerous. Judah however seemed to be able to use his reach which allowed him avenues PAC doesn't have.

Floyd sweeps the mid rounds. Was Judah about to fall as some suggest? I don't think. Frustration. That is it. Judah was frustrated and there forth comes the low blow.

    Good fight overall.

FMJ made good adjustments and was beggining to open up, tagging Judah prior to that low blow. The tide of the fight changed and Floyd played it safe the last 2 rounds.

I recall that Judah was sarcastically called "one of the best 6 round fighters ever". He is a real front runner, dangerous and quick early but is totally different as the fight progresses.

I agree with you, Floyd put on a clinic on how to fight a southpaw. By rounds 7 onwards Floyd had neutralized him. Floyd stuck by the straight right game plan which took a few rounds, then added the jab.

Its strange to rewatch that fight. Floyd is aggressive, banging the body and trying to walk Judah down in spots - its a fun fight. That was 2006, basically a deacade ago, every body ages and as Floyd did he became more safety first.

I always felt Floyd over-sold the effects of the low blow. It was illegal but Floyd's emotional gestures the "how could this happen to me look" and slow dragging walk was milking it for too much sympathy. He has an elite chin and was very durable in the ring Im sure he has faced many low blows before.

Vargas got drilled many times by Trindad and there was no over-emotional reaction. Hatton and Kostya exchanged crushing low blows but went straight back to work without any antics.

Yes you are right. But Floyd is a tough guy, it might just be his personality he did seem prone to outburts when he felt he was wronged in a fight and being overly emotional when announced a winner. He dominanted Gatti and Chico Hernandez yet when announced the winner was broken down in tears sobbing, rolling on the floor for minutes. Just seemed odd considering he so macho is busting those guys up and the fights werent even remotely close. He may have put himself under a lot of pressure and expectations.

No shame on Floyd, hes an AtG and can celebrate how he wants. Just an observation I had.

My thinking is the same. I think at welter and higher his chin is largely untested. (autocorrect on my phone sucks)

    116-109 Floyd.

    9-3 rounds
Judah knocked down Floyd (missed call by Steele)
Steele had to deduct at least 2 points from Judah in the 10th for blatant foul
