I had Matthysse ahead, but in some judges defense, a fight looks different at ringside than it does from a tv screen. They aren't influenced by commentary, and they don't get the exaggerated angle of the television cameras.
They should have prior knowledge about the fighter... and know that Alexander throws many arm punches that come up short and hit gloves, even if they look flashy, they aren't scoring shots.
True, but they ARE influenced by the crowd who cheers every time one fighter lands a pitty-pat flurry on the others gloves.
Here is his track record: http://boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?hum...2535&cat=judge Let's examine the significant bouts he's worked that haven't been quick knockouts... This content is protected This content is protected This content is protected This content is protected
I've been wondering if it's possible for Matthysse to sue judge Colon in civil court. Considering that even the network commentators agreed it was an impossibly unjust card, and it is significantly damaging Matthysse's career, I think he might actually have a shot. I doubt you could sue the entire boxing federation, nor Don King, but why not go after this one, obviously corrupt, bunghole? It might set a good precedent.
