How many robberies does this judge have to be a part of before he is no longer used? Jerry Roth scored.... Oscar De La Hoya vs Trinidad for Tito Oscar De La Hoya vs Mosley II for Mosley Mayweather Jr vs Castillo I for Mayweather Pac vs Bradley Those are 4 of the most high profile robberies in recent memory. Jerry Roth was a judge in all 4 of them. Is it possible that he thinks the guy who wins the round gets the lower score? Possibly a golf approach?
If you saw the Holmes-Cooney article on the front page, Duane Ford (another judge who scored it 115-113 for Bradley) was only scoring Larry Holmes the winner against Cooney because of the 3 point deduction Cooney had. In other words, he thought Cooney was outboxing Holmes atsch I wouldn't be surprised to see them involved in many more Top Rank inhouse fights.
In these two fights, not only were they unanimous decisions, but all 3 judges had similar scores. Furthermore, most of the ringside observers scored those fights for Mosley and Mayweather. A lot of times, fans forget that the judges are seeing an entirely different fight due to where they are sitting, the fact that they are trained to not be swayed by crowd noise, and aren't listening to the commentary. The judges also are paying closer attention than fans. I'm not saying the judges never get it wrong, but you do have to remember that they are basically seeing a different fight than viewers at home.
Campillo V Shumenov II 115 - 113 for Shumenov from mr roth Rios V Abril, Jerry Roth had it 116 - 112 Rios The guy is a joke.......
cj ross had pavlik winning by like 8 points vs. lopez. a fight i had lopez winning. she had lara-molina a draw
Had Shumenov Campillo 2 for shumenov too, and Abril-Rios for Rios. The man is a corrupt, there is no doubt in my mind. Upps, smacked said it before lol
The point is that it seems like when Jerry Roth is a judge.... the decision comes up fishy... no matter who he scored it for. Jerry Roth was also a judge in the Pac vs Marquez II fight... Roth scored the fight for Marquez while Ford and Miller scored it for Pac. I had Marquez winning that fight. Either way... the fight ended in controversial decision. It seems like the same judges names keep popping around in all of these fights and it's obvious that something deeper is going on.
