It's irrelevant though. We are talking about his ability as a fighter. Do you refuse to discuss any fighter who committed serious crimes? The fact he is scum goes without saying, but it is still interesting to imagine what he would have done against other top fighters had he not been a psycho. Corrales beat his wife up, Tyson was convicted of **** and obviously Monzon leaps to mind in light of the Valero killing. I don't see the point in not talking about a fighter just because they were a someone you dislike or even loathe.
I was laughing about the use of the word judgemental, I'm sure you see what that implies. I could talk about how Valero would fare against other boxers, but that does not change how I judge him. He's a sack of ****. Him murdering someone is not irrelevant at all to me.
a guy i worked with committed suicide a couple of weeks ago and you would never know this guy was having mental problems one of the best guys i ever worked with
Rough talent, who had KO power, but his demons got the better of him. Will become a big 'what if'. The whole thing is tragic.
his style looked like it could of been exploited, i believe he would have been a marque name eventually but he would of took a couple L's for sure with those ass wide swings.
To be honest, I think he loses to all the top 140lbers. There is nothing that he ever did that stood out that showed he would rule the 140lb division. I don't think he even beats Funeka or Guzman. Way, way overrated fighter. A green DeMarco his best win? C'mon. He never had the balls to face a top fighter.
I will judge him as an abusive, drunken murderer who took the cowardly way out by killing himself instead of facing punishment.
chivito: "he never had the balls to face a top fighter" LMAO... more like he never got the chance to face a top fighter!!! That kid would of fought the devil in the ring, he had zero fear!!
