Spot on mate, well remembered! And yes Lewis did really sit on the fence, he just kept smiling as if he knew something! Yes that was a fantastic night, the Ingle fight was a real good one. If anyone ever needs to be reminded of what a good fighter Paul Ingle was they should see that fight, he was like a little machine! It is such a tragedy what has happened to that poor man, he was true class. :deal They have really let the boxing fans down, no excuses,
Ingle was very good, he took naz into deep waters that night and his performances against medina and junior jones showed he was one of the best in the world at that time. I was at calzaghe woodhall too the night he collapsed, he struggled to make weight that time and it cost him big time, it was very sad
Yeah Ingle was class, I think if he could of fought Naz again he'd of caused even more problems. I think he took a little to long to settle IIRC, Then he got into fight but was chasing in the end. Haven't seen that fight for a long time, hard to remember everything. I can remember them leaving the ring while Naz took his time in entrance. The Botile fight people mentioned a cold didn't they, but as you say it later came out he was having weight problems. He was out on **** weeks before the bout sadly and wasn't living the life. Great warrior the kid, was speaking to my boy HH last night about Spencer Oliver when he got injured. Both left me cold!!! scary stuff..
Bloody Hell mate that must have been a terrible thing to see live....... You're right though his performances against Medina and Jones were also outstanding, he was a little unlucky that Naz was in his prime when he was at the top of the game, I wonder what Ingle would have achieved otherwise? I wonder how Paul Ingle would get on today?!
