Froch's post-fight interview was extremely classless. He gave no credit to his opponent who outboxed him and made him look like a fool. It was a hometown decision of the highest order, bent as ****. And it has now put serious question marks over the integrity of the tournament.

Dirrell was humble in defeat, he has every right to be outraged, but just said he will come back stronger to win a title. He has ten times the class Froch has. I expected better from Froch, I thought he was a down to earth guy but he came across as arrogant, when in reality he knows he got outboxed.

Dirrell won that fight hands down. That was an out and out robbery. Your boy exposed Froch tonight, Dirrell was outclassing him from start to finish. This tournament is officially a sham thanks to that decision.

I don't think they were corrupt, Mick Hennessy doesn't have that type of influence.

Swayed by the home town and ridicuously favourable towards aggression.

Both point deductions tonight, in the JT/AA fight and Froch's, stank of overzealous home cooking too. Sure they were technically right but...

Point deductions can change a boxers game plan and attitude.

Taylor punched him in the nuts square on the first time, and was always on the threshold of being too low. I don't think he could have any complaints.

Dirrell was holding a lot, I thought it was for that which would have been okay but apparently it was for leaning. Froch should also have had a point for constant rabbit punching and throwing Dirrell.

I've just come from the fight and yes it was a very close fight but looking at it now, Dirrell ran and held all fight, it wasn't a great fight by him as people suggest.

Yea, the first one was low no doubts, but the others I saw didn't look decidedly low.

I just thought the point deductions were handed out with little warning (I know they got a warning), but normally you see them talked to a lot more.

As you say, Froch was rabbit punching all night. IMO, he was a worse culprit at that than Dirrell's clinging/leaning.

How many times do you see points deducted for holding or leaning? I can't think of many occasions. People like Hatton and Wlad (for leaning), would end up pointless...
