I mean, is not like I can be sure but in an scenario with Everett winning the decision he could have been out of that city with a possible lucrative deal with a big promoter now as a champion, of course that is all speculation and with Everett's lifestyle who knows but IMO the robbery probably affected his motivation and decisions.

    Felix Sturm losing to DLH.

If Sturm gets the decision, I doubt Hopkins and DLH ever fight. With them not fighting, Hopkins never becomes a partner in GBP.

    Just a few thoughts:
    1) IMO had Patterson gotten the nod in the Quarry tournament bout, he would have beaten Spencer and would have fought Ellis five months earlier for the Elimination championship thus eliminating their September 68 fight in Sweden.
    2) Had Floyd gotten the nod against Jimmy in Sweden, I'm not sure what he would have done?
Perhaps his pride would have him wanting a 3rd shot against Liston, a fight I could see Floyd winning at that point given that he was still in shape and viable and Sonny, sans Clark, didn't face anyone else 'significant' in his comeback and was older and more battle-worn at that point.
Frazier? I think Floyd would have played a bit of a waiting game for that one. Had they fought I think Joe, often a semi-slow starter, would let Floyd get into a rhythm and maybe steal a round or two early (he was MUCH more susceptible to rights than LH's) but eventually Joe locates Floyd in route to a TKO (Floyd down a second time at some point and the ref waving Joe off).
My guess is he may have (had he not wanted Sonny) went after a few other contenders first off:
Quarry: after two close fights he might have wanted a 'clear' victory in that trifecta.
Martin: Leotis was ranked and skillful.
Bonavena: Could have been a 'Chuvalo-ish' scrap.
That's the only possibilities that come to my mind at this point?
