Judges had the score TOO WIDE but the RIGHT MAN won

9-3 Trout, at minimum.


Showtime was, IMO, off their game last night. Watched Trout totally dominate a round (the 10 IIRC) only to have Showtime come back and claim Cotto outlanded him 20 to 16. No way.

And Paulie needs to explains which one of that last 2 rounds he gave to Cotto in order to come up with that draw.

That fight was pretty much a repeat of the Mayweather-Cotto fight except Trout didn't give away rounds or sections of rounds laying on the ropes.

 

Trout beat the fight and will out of Cotto. **** probably beat the rest of his career out of him.

 

This fight was no closer than 116-110. 117-111 or 118-110 is dead on. I have a little bit of a problem with 119-109, because like Lederman said,"You get one round just for showing up" lol, but I'd give Cotto 2 rounds, three if I was feeling generous. Trout beat him up, plain and simple..

 

i had in 8-4 but 8-5 would have been a decent score as well

but add least the right guy won this time

I had it 117-111. I thought the ref did a good job. Let the fighters fight inside and work out of clinches, which is what you're supposed to do.

 

That was 117-111 fight all day everyday, atleast.

 

yeah. the fight was not close. cotto maybe won 3 rounds. the rounds cotto looked good ; he was missing punches.

 

wow at anyone who had cotto winning more that 3 rounds. Cotto was also hurt 4x in the fight, twice to the body.

 

I had it 118-110. That crowd was cheering when Cotto was missing. I think the scores were spot on.

Cotto better watch the replays and get a dose of reality. There was no time in that fight did his family think he was winning. They seemed outright concerned for him.

 

Yep I had it 116-112. This is the 2nd or 3rd time I have seen Trout fight. He is big for 154lbs.

 

Because Cotto gave him his first "L" and broke his jaw in the process.

 

I gave Cotto two rounds. He barely landed a punch. Didn't have a problem with any of the scorecards.

 

Paulie was dick riding like he was Cotto's wife. 114-114? WTF fight was he watching? Paulie needs to go, Showtime needs to bring back Tarver.
