98-92 ? Thats being extremely generous for Bute. Almost all the rounds were very close, and an argurment could have been made either way. 96-94 would have been fair, Bute was getting tagged big at times. Showed he was a bit green, and isnt up to the standard of Joe or Mikkel...just yet.
I gave Berrio 4 rounds out of 10, had Berrio not been KOed, he'd have lost the 11th and 12th by the looks of it. But I do agree, Bute is still very green and the game plan was good, but it wasn't executed well. He should have had Berrio sparked out of there earlier.
Same scorecard as me then, and yes I believe that Bute would have won the last 2 rounds. First time i've seen Bute anyway, although I wasnt impressed with the performance and still believes he needs a lot of work there's definatly potential and its just exciting that there's another quality fighter in the SMW which is a top3 division in boxing right now, talent wise.

In think that considering Berrio was champion, 6-4 going into the 11th is fair (thats how I had it). 7-3 is the score I would've given if neither was champion. 118-112 is the score Bute gets because like it or not judges get influenced by the crowds reactions. Home court advantage is a big deal.
