toughes son of a shut yo mouth: Antonio Margarito...Who takes a better punch, who smiles at you when you land something good. I've only seen the man hurt once, and he was not all that hurt against Clottey. I talk about him, but I respect him. He used to be able to box better than he shows us today. Defense is also very underrated.

Best southpaw: Tie. Manny Pac and Calzaghe. These are two of the top guys in our sport today.

Biggest straight right hand: David Haye. Adamek and a few others come close, but Haye's right is a beast.

Biggest straight left hand: Manny P. Darchinian are JML are up there, but Manny's is the best!

Best left hook: Juan Marquez. It isn't the strongest, but it is the best.

Best right hook: JML. Calzaghe's hook to the body is up there but Juan Manuel Lopez's is crunching.

    Best inside fighter: Israel Vasquez

    Best defense: Arthur Abraham

Heaviest hands: Tie. Abraham and Edwin Valero

Best jab: Paul Williams. Chad Dawson is right there, but he needs to throw it more.

    Best chin: B-Hop

Best boxer: Joe Calzaghe with Hop and J.M.M a close second.

    Smartest fighter: B-Hop

    Best footwork: Ivan Calderon

Most underrated: tie. Nonito Donaire and Chris John. Celestine Cabbalero is not far behind.

Will suprise us all: Andre Berto

    Most unbeatable: Vitali Klitschko

Most under appreciated: Wlad klitschko. All he does is win.

You're a valid candidate and although some have disagreed with you (as I have) and even had feuds with you, you love boxing as we all do. :good

Bernard Hopkins. He's made an underdog in every fight.

There's alot that's good about this list, but surely the best boxer in the world could land more than a microscopic handful of punches on a Hopkins who is offering almost nothing back? Kelly Pavlik landed better punches, and more of them, against Hopkins, and he got dominated. Granted, Hopkins left more opportunities to be hit in the Pavlik fight, but come on.. Calzaghe the best boxer? Not a chance. Turning every shot into a 6 inch jab - lead or rear hand, and/or slap, does not make you the ****ing best boxer alive.

With Floyd retired, Cal is the best pure boxer today. You can't name anyone better.

Great post!!:good:happy:good But best left hook, Juan Marquez???? Wlad Klitschko triple left hooked Rahman and the giant Austin into oblivion. His lead left hook and his hook off the jab are in another stratosphere especially considering his huge size. Anyway great list but the left hook championship goes to Wlad.
