Guys I have been reading in another thread how the judging in Junior and Oganov's bout was way off the mark and having watched the fight I to agree. With all this talk about poor judging it got me thinking. Who Judges the judges? I mean, are they ever held accountable? To me some of the officials have been around to long and would not know what day it is let alone know who won the fight they just judged.

I have seen personally some officials not paying attention during the round. One judge can be clearly seen on film speaking to the ring card girls for 30 seconds during one round whilst in another bout another judge is seen writing notes or drawing picstures or whatever. Surprise surprise when the decisions were read out in these 2 bouts that these judges both got it bloody wrong. The point is guys both of these two are not doing the job they are PAID to do. And who suffers from this? Not the official, as you can bet he will be on another show in the future, but the fighter, he is the one who suffers from this lack of officiating. The fighter who trains his arse off and puts his body through hell and back and if lucky might take home 200-250 buucks a round.

It is quite obvious that in some states the officials are apart of a "boys club" and are not interested in giving new people the opportunity. Maybe there should be a shake up and time to blood new officials. Just my opionion guys. Cheers

Politics play a huge part................ I watched the whole fight on the website and there is no way Oganov won.

my opinion, the judges are to close to the fight, should be watching on monitors in a back room.Ive sat rinside on a few occasions and you do miss parts of the fight.

So judges should judge the fight by watching a monitor in a back room.

Better still, why can't they just watch the televised bouts from the comfort of their own lounge room and email their scores in.

Bloody hell, I've heard the lot now!

I'm sure you've sat ringside and missed some things, that happens when you go to the bar.

Thats the reason the judges are each seated on a separate side with a different viewing angle...
