Ok ****ometer, how many times do you have to look over Aoki's losses to see that wrestling did not beat him? Melendez beat a cage-virgin Aoki who was not prepared to deal with the wall in a fight where the referee stood it up everytime he got into Aoki's guard. Sakurai was a WW UFC title challenger who was able to land several hard shots before getting Aoki down. Talk to me about him when Maynard, Edgar or Melendez start facing top WW guys.

I'm sure you are not Fedor hating, but you pov is a bit skewed imo. Mir's BJJ is a bit overrated by many people because a lot of the guys he faced over the years had very little BJJ training. Lesnar's improvement in the 2nd fight was impressive I have to admit but I cannot see him being limber enough to handle someone who was faster than Mir on the ground.

The last point is a bit amusing, Sergei is a boxer first and foremost. He learned sambo like everyone in the army, and was one of the best at it, but relied much more on his boxing when he went to MMA.

Im made the same point about Rand/Cole's level of BJJ, which is a fair one, and you had this to say

    So you can **** off

Speed had nothing to do with it, good old fashion pin to the ground wrestling combined with hammerfists, so this is pointless and can **** off

So a guys entire ground game which is based on Sambo, who gets beaten by a wrestler, but he doesnt really train sambo anyway so that doesnt count...

    Please **** off

Great rebuttal, you bring up Aoki and then tell me to **** off for bringing to light how misinformed your point was, maybe this is sound advice at this point.

Just one last thing, to any observers, look at Kharitonov's background in Sambo and Boxing and tell me which one he seemed to focus on.

I mentioned Aoki twice, in reply to you, both times, once was to tell you to **** off

And too any observers tell me how the the last two Sambo v wrestlers matches in Strikeforce HW division went please?

Please **** off, you're yet to make a point yet, except for the observation that there are more wrestlers

Im serious, close the window that say's ESB, and stare at you Aoki wallpaper on your PC. Your posts are nothing but blatant nuthugging. Aoki's Judo is phenomenal, yet, Aoki cant defend a punch or fight in a cage using it! Now go look at Sherks WW career using wrestling

    Please....**** off

Hard to read the same bull**** Aoki excuses from a nuthugger with no point other than ''Aoki knows Judo, Judo is better'' with out resorting to a simple **** off either

    So **** off!

Judo isnt really a great compliment to jits really, if you want to be all round effective then you're best off with boxing or muay Thai to complement it as a standing art. Judo is excellent for balance but if you have good bjj then getting taken down shouldn't be too much of an issue.

I think you took that entirely out of the context of the thread.

Thus far I've found it useful for throws, balance and breaking fall. Don't find it as useful as BJJ, boxing or Muay Thai to this point.
