So most cards had JB or NC by a couple of points, or a draw? Is this worth re-watching?

I had it Clev 4-2 but 6-6 would be fine, and yeah its worth watching, it'll fly by fairly quickly.

Worth a watch. Was shaping out to be a good fight. Don't listen to CST  That foo DKSAB :nono

Was either 3-3 or 4-2 JB. Last 2 rounds were very clear rounds for him before he inexplicably quit.

    Okay whatever you said fanboy.

Most of the rounds were back and forth, could have gone either way except for the 1st and 6th which Clev won.

I saw the result on BR without come here to read any editorial comments and was definitely raising an eyebrow at the idea of Cleverly of all people forcing Brähmer of all people to quit. So what kind of injury was it?

That's funny because several people including myself had 6 for JB. Not a fanboy, just giving you a hard time man.

Dislocated elbow, but things were starting to spiral against him, he was missing a lot in the 6th and starting to gas, he's been stopping guys in 7 or 8 lately, but the Gutjknecht rematch really showed how bad his stamina has become, he looked horrid for the last 4 or 5 rounds of that match, I think Juergen know the score and wasn't up for the beatdown he'd have to endure for the next 6 rounds and pulled a quit job.

Yeah you are, you always seem to side with that inbred troll, you're a subtle fanboy, and I don't care what most people had it, Pinoy and I both had it 4-2 for Clev, and we're better judges than the rest of you.:deal:

A fan but not a fanboy. My posts regarding the fight are lot more sensible than yours honestly, which reek of bias towards JB. Claiming that Clev broke him down and made him quit is just an unfounded BS claim.

Braehmer was starting to fall apart, he had a pretty bad 6th round, things were conspiring against him, did he break him down, maybe not, but he was starting to.

Like I said in another thread, Braehmer pulled out of the match 5 years ago, and he pulled out again.

had braehmer won, he'd have been mandated to fight kovalev-ward winner? now he gets a lucrative rematch vs creampuff cleverly? sounds like a selective dive.

If there's a rematch, I'm assuming it will take place in Cleverly's backyard since he's the champ now and if that's the case, will Braehmer be willing to go to UK?

"Probably not" is the short answer.

Braehmer is too deeply embedded in the comfort zone of fighting in Germany, so I suspect he won't have the bottle to travel to Britain for a rematch.

Deep down, Braehmer knows if he does decide to come to Cardiff and rematch Cleverley, Terry O'Connor would be appointed the referee of the fight, and would wave the contest over during the German national anthem -- a VERY VERY British stoppage, if you will -- and award the stoppage victory to Nate Clev. :yikes:
