I wasn't really high on Brant after I saw his subpar performance against Louis Rose, who I thought he barely scraped by, however, it could be chalked up to the fact that it was his television debut against probably his best opponent, so maybe the moment got to him a little bit. Evidently I wasn't the only guy unimpressed by it, Brant must've thought he sucked as well, because his second match on Showtime against Decarlo Perez, who is probably a little better than Rose, not only did he beat him, he blitzed him in savage fashion, it was a dominant performance from start to gruesome finish, then his match against Chris Fitzpatrick, who isn't all that great, but it must be noted, he stopped him 2 rounds quicker than Danny Jacobs, who's no featherfist, and then there's his win over than Rondo Hatton doppelganger Delray Raines, who while having a KO win over isn't all that special, since most halfway decent MW's that have faced him have dispatched him, but IMO Brant's win over him, equals the brutality of the Lemieux stoppage, the Lara shot was a more of a discombobulating nose breaking shot than savage KTFO shot. I think Brant is one of the few fighters that learned from their poor performance, and it lit a fire under his ass to elevate his game, and he has.

What? Is Brant not a cute enough black/mulatto guy for you to salivate over? Does he not make you horny baby? Since that seems to be your one and only criteria when hyping fighters. I have little to no use for Brant whatsoever, and I'm not hyping him, I'm responding to a thread about Brant vs. Braehmer, I just happen to think he'll beat Braehmer's decrepit ass, no one is asking whether or not he'll go far in the tournament.

What have you abandoned Kirk's league? Did one or two losses make you all butthurt? You ****ing quitter.

A little bit too much hate on Braehmer in this thread by my liking...

50/50 fight. Brant is the unknown commodity. But everything seems to point to that story unfolding.

Seems a good fight to splurge a tiny wager on the draw.

I think breahmer is shot but if he has anything left I think he can outbox Brant and win a ud

Hell... Surviving to see the cards and winning 3-4 rounds might be enough to win a UD. It is Germany after all!

I think if depends on the pace of the fight if it's a slow pace thats what breahmer wants but If Brant jumps on him and sets a fast pace I can see breahmer quiting

My record is pretty good tbh, maybe I should stomp your ass in Kirks league next year
Even if I don't watch the midget weights, you are just a lower/mid table guy any way, I could probably just spot you those fights.

Brant is looking like Peewee Herman don't you think? Even an ancient Braehmer might just out muscle him, Braehmer has some skill too.

    War Braehmer!!!

I had a disastrous beginning of the year, as did quite a few other posters, because its been one of those years, but since I started out around 30th place, and I'm almost cracking the Top 15, that's quite a comeback. And based solely on wins, I already am Top 15. Drew, Zakman and I rarely finish outside the top 12, usually Top 10. But the fact that most of the guys directly in front of me have missed so many hard to call matches, usually the early morning midget bouts, they didn't take the loss, so they're ahead of us on a technicality.

Of course your record is pretty good, because you've barely played, and bailed after you took one loss. You don't have the balls to stick it out. Join back up right now, just to get in the proper mindset, there's all time great rankings, so even if you don't finish very highly this year, they still count towards your overall record.

I don't like either one of them, I don't have a real dog in this fight, but no, I doubt Braehmer will out muscle him, because that's not how Braehmer fights, and Brant doesn't fight like that either.

If I had to pick a winner in this fight I would go with Brant, and I think its not too hard of a pick tbh its an easyish one. This fight isn't a true 50/50 imo, Braehmer has too much going against him, not that I rate Brant highly at all.

Braehmer is ancient, coming off an injury, inactive and cutting weight. Brant has the youth and speed on his side, he will be strong at the weight as he will barely be cutting any weight, he will probably be 10% better for not cutting the weight.

Brant will outspeed him from range, and it will be up to Braehmer to utilize his size to win this fight. The way he wins will be to out muscle his younger fleeter footed opponent. Braehmer is an old dog, and I think he will probably just go back to what he knows best which will play in to Brant's hands. Tight guard, jab and grab etc, utilize a bit of movement, he should probably just get picked off if he implements this game plan.

I hope he does try and rough Brant up, see what Brant is made of, but a lot of people seem to think Braehmer is the quitter after the Cleverly fight.

My thinking exactly. Which is why I was pushing people towards Brant here.

And Juegen is a quitter, he's never been too keen on a fight with Clev, he pulled out of one a few years back, and he wasn't very keen on fighting Clev when he was in the ring with him either, since he literally pulled out of that one too.
