I think Ruiz is a natural boxer but I would think Joyce would have the advantage in size and to be fair Joyce himself can box,he's not a knockout artist like Wilder imo.
Anyone seen that Joyce v Usyk fight?Pretty impressive given Joyce is classed a super heavyweight in the ams.Joyce didn't shame himself against Usyk either but over three rounds Usyk was landing slick combinations.

Ruiz eats too much processed meats to be Joyce. I think Joyce would physically Clubber Ruiz.
Currently Joyce has the better resume :deal:

Honestly I think Joyce will be an absolute nightmare to anyone, best workrate and stamina in the division, looks like the best chin and unrelentless style.

Ruiz has a granite chin, it really depends on if Joyce can take his power.

Originally I thought Ruiz because he is a far slicker and quicker boxer with a bit of power but Joyce has this unique style where he looks like Frankenstein walking around the ring.

It isn't pretty but it is effective and if his chin holds up I can see him upsetting quite a few bigger names just due to his unrelenting come forward style backed up with some clubbing power..

    Who proved Ruiz has Granite??

Hammer landed some mean punches, if that was a seasoned Contender, Ruiz would've been pulverized. Tor Hammer was a pilot and pt boxer

Joyce beat a former world champ

Stiverne was an extremely poor paper champion who was in terrible physical condition even in his prime. By the time he fought Joyce he was a shadow of his poor prime.

Ruiz, on the other hand, lost a close decision for WBO title to Joseph Parker in New Zealand. Subsequently, Parker took Anthony Joshua the distance and then, whilst having a sub par performance, lost a controversial decision to Dillian Whyte who was out on his feet exhausted at the final bell.

Ruiz turned down an offer to spar JJJ

I want to see Ruiz minus the gut vs Joshua, which I suspect is a hard fight for him. If so, he would be hell for anybody.

Stiverne after he lost his title to Wilder had absolutely nothing left as a fighter and came in off a two year layoff when he fought Joyce. That said I think Ruiz-Joyce would be a 50/50 fight.

Tough one, the high pressure power puncher vs the high pressure, technical fighter with quick hands.

It will be easier to judge when if its true about Jennings being Joyce's next fight as it will be his his first pro fight against someone half decent technically with speed although chinny.
