I think he may have re-hired Ariza. Looks like Ariza next to Freddie in this vid. Quality is quite rubbish though. Khans uncle posted this vid just now. http://www.twitvid.com/8OQSE

I think he will probably start with Ariza after Chavez fight next week.

  5. Laz, wtf? Do you actually think that's going to happen? It's a regular HBO card ffs, you might get one co-feature but that's it.

Guerrero's going to be headlining his own card in August.

Let's not forget that TV ratings are spurious. How many posters have the set top box which records what you are watching and sends the data on? Because all the networks get are those figures, and they then make an estimate based on how many 'should' have been watching around that time.

This fight will be on sky or ITV. 60,000 buys at 9pm is one thing, but how many are going to stay up until 4am to buy this fight on primetime?

Khan fights need to be at a more UK friendly time.

Well not exactly. It's true that 4am would reduce the buys significantly but at the same time the fee they get from SS also drops by a large amount due to the time.

As for ITV.. It's very unlikely considering how much they would offer for it. The only reason the Malignaggi fight was on ITV was more to do with one of Asif Vali's classic 'being ****ing clueless moments'.

They have also been referring to "UK PPV" in the stories put into the press with regards to the various negotiations with the opponents so in all probability they will attempt once again to outdo the SS fee with Primetime buys.

I've just read on the scene that Khan's team aren't budging from a 60-40 split in their favour, and that the fight is now slipping away. Not sure how out of date that is? Whatever the case, Judah's a lucky man to be getting 50-50. Hope Khan puts a beat down on him.

Yet another debacle with a Khan fight potentially slipping away due to financial disputes.

The kid should be training, and not having to deal with this shite.... needs to sack everybody associated with him apart from Roach.

Main Events are right about the venue, they can actually promote. Golden Girl just take the casino money and the TV package, which doesn't take much work because HBO just pay them whatever they ask for.

    Couldn't organise a **** up in a brewery.

Ignore the news stories that claim to be from today. It is journalists and commentators regurgitating or just reporting what was the situation on Friday morning. Give it till Monday.
