@154. I would name the rounds for the fight, but does it really matter? Is Jackson too green or Mugabi already figured out?
Much depends on if it's pre Hagler Mugabi If he fights a still green Jackson instead of Hagler he's the favorite. If you insert Jackson instead of Duane Thomas against a post Hagler jaded Mugabi then Jackson wins.
The best version of Mugabi was vs Hagler. The way he fought that nite I think he takes out any version of Julian Jackson. With that said two punchers like this anything can happen. Jackson certainly the more accomplished or greater career but I don't know that he could handle the Beast.
Arguably the two hardest punchers at that weight... I love Jackson but I have to choose Mugabi on the durability factor. Both capable of stopping the other any time.
I have Julian Jackson by a mid fight stoppage. John The Beast Mugabi like most punchers lacked the stamina to hang in there, he would punch himself out without the Rope A Dope being used on him, Jackson would take advantage and take him out.
Jackson's far more proven. Mugabi would have the proverbial punchers chance but I'd be very confident Jackson gets in first.
The two great posters above have it round about right for me. Jackson more than likely wins, the more proven fighter.
