Julian Jackson v.s Gerald MCclelan: More Punching Power?

Gerald could go to the body harder with those unbelievable whipping hooks.

He also had a harder straight right hand.

Hooks and most everything else?

I thought it was strictly at MW, that would make the most sense, since there are other obvious choices if this were a P4P poll. Then again there's other choices at MW as well.

 

Jackson Easily, But Mcclellan was the better technician. & would have beaten Jackson in a head to head match.

 

Yeah, he "would have". Too bad they never fought, other than those two times McClellan KO'd him.

 

From a pound for pound sense, I believe Jackson had the greater punching power.

 

Mclellan was bigger than Jackson but pfp i think Jackson was a bigger puncher.

Jackson definitely. Way more one punch power.

 

Jackson by far. I can't believe the poll has G-Man ahead. McClellan was the bigger fighter and had a much better chin, though. But Jackson had Uranium in his fists, while McClellan just had mortar shells.

 

Jackson had frightening power. I can never forget the hook he put on herol graham with one eye closed. Poor herol was out in an instant. Awesome one punch power.
