Julian Jackson v.s Gerald MCclelan: More Punching Power?

At 160, McClellan.

Ooops, Brain Cramp! Memory is hazy, I pretty much just remember the Benn fight for McClellan. I forgot also some of the great wins he had.

 

Jackson did knock out Terry Norris in two. He was on top of the world in reputation. And just as suddenly he was kayoed early. Was that By McClellan? And the fight against Benn was that for McClellan's title or Benn's?

 

He was KO'd in 5 or 6 in the first fight with McClellan, but it was a damn good slugfest. In the rematch he was KO'd in one. The fight with Benn was for Benn's Super Middleweight title, as G-Man was moving up.

 

Jackson was blown out by McClellan the second time around.

 

Yes, Once Jackson lost the title, That was it for him. He couldn't take a punch anymore. Thanks for the info.

 

Considering some of the one punch knockouts that Julian achieved during his career, I'd have to make a strong case for him being the hardest puncher p4p that the sport has ever seen. When he his fighters, they didn't get back up.

 

That's what made him exciting though, same as Tommy Hearns. Both could end it with one punch, but both could be ended with one punch too.

 

Jackson's chin wasn't bad at all.

 

Jackson had a below average chin. His power was the only reason he was in the fight with G-Man, and that is why I think Julian hit harder than Gerald. If McClellan had the same chin Jackson had, G-Man would have lost the first fight with Jackson.

 

Erm, did you miss him and McClellan trading?
