Julian Jackson V These SRR Opponents ?

I just feel Fullmer got caught quite a bit during his career and for me Jackson was P4P the hardsest puncher of all time, plus his hands were so much quicker than Gene`s, McCallum stated that Jackson had the quickest hands that he ever faced and if he could hit Mike at light middle then he could certainly catch Gene at middle, having said all this Philly started a thread I think in response to me saying Fullmer would lose her, showing a vid of Gene`s offensive skills and he was a marvelous hooker.

 

And once again to show the difference, I think Jackson edges out a KO against Tiger and Gerald 1-sided stomps Tiger in a similar fashion to Foster vs Tiger

 

What if there was a fighter that was a mix of Gene and Jackson`s best qualities?!

 

My thoughts exactly, when JJ went up those few extra pds he seemed to lose some of the sting in his punches. Strong natural middle like Fullmer, or a fighter like Basilo who would crowd Jackson and keep him from getting max leverage on his punches, and JJ not having the greatest chin himself I can see Basilo in his chest, wear down JJ, stopping him in the later rds. Turpin had the ability to box circles around JJ. The only fighter I'm comfortable with saying he would win is Olson...

 

Yeah I think Bobo is his best chance but I wouldn’t pick him over these 4 including Olson
