Not always. He was cautious with Cintron and took additional steps to avoid the right hand early on. But once he realized he could take it he began to walk through it.

Margarito isn't anywhere near the same puncher but that has never been his intent. He does it by numbers. Constant pressure which is something most boxers would never face. I'm sure even Daniel Santos who had momentarily hurt Margarito would attest that Margarito's pressure is extraordinary. He just doesn't stop. Most guys you hit them and they back off. It gives you room to think what to do next and to breathe. Not having that luxury is a huge handicap.

So while Jackson is an ATG puncher he had vunerabilities that would play into Margarito's hands. He would be lured into Margarito's fight, and he would be consistently attacked round after round after round. Now if what I suspect is true about Margarito's chin, Jackson would be seriously demoralized by the second half of that fight.

your like a lot of the posters who post on ESB, you read one person's post about a fighter and you believe it to be true. Jackson didn't have shaky chin fool

There were only two fighter that stopped Jackson in his prime and thats McCallum and McCllen , with McCallen he was stopped on his feet and with McCllen he was just stopped . Jackson was never the same fighter after his wars with McCllen in which both fighter SWOPPED Bombs , any fighter that swops bomb with McCllen the way jackson did doesn't get my vote for a fighter with a shaky chin.
in any case jackson was stopped buy two of the best fighter/ punchers at the time, there's not too many fighter today can say they faced the two most feared fighters at 154 and 160 and put up one hell of a fight in each .

I think the difference in opinion is always going to be in our ratings of his chin.

I can't knock it, but honestly I can't see how you are concluding from taking shots from welterweights, and one half decent but nowhere near great 154lb fighter and puncher he'll take shots from one of the great punchers. To me that is quite a wild leap of faith, and the percentages are with Jackson hurting him if he lands with any regularity

If Margarito somehow did take those shots, he would probably win.

Margarito is not even the same fighter at 154 as he is at 147 , Jackson was very strong 154 it safe to say he was a lot stronger then Margarito at 154.. If margarito marched forward on jackson , it would be like a pit bull going after a mountain lion , he's a brave dog but he's done, even if he survives he will never be the same.

jackson by 3 if not earlier

How the **** do you know that? He had one fight at 154 against the consensus #2 presently and fought to a very disputed decision loss. You have no idea how good he'd be at 154 had he stayed. That is just nonsense talk.

you ****ing dope , his punching power is one of the reason's he's in the HOF , His punching power is every bit as good as they say it is..

Jackson had the most Freakish punching power Iv ever seen, he would knock guys out cold with punches that only traveled inches.

in any case you don't know what the **** your talking about now be gone.
