Oh my... ANYBODY, and I mean ANYBODY that feels that Margarito, or anyone else, could withstand 12 rounds of Jackson's power clearly hasn't either seen enough of Jackson, is a Marga fanboy, or doesn't know the sport of boxing.

who are these kidding if they think margartio will walk through Jackson's punches .. Jackson love to throw lots of leather in the early to mid round and he still had enough left over to hurt you late in the fight.

Even when he was hurt, he could hurt you .

if ever there was a bad style for margarito this was the WORST , McCllen and McCallum proved you ether have to have superior punching power or superior boxing skill to beat Julian back in the day, margarito has nether at this point ..
Margarito does have heavy hand but it safe to say Jackson punches will take effect on margarito way before margartio punches take effect on jackson.

I couldn't agree more. I bet most of these fools have never seen Julian Jackson fight the man was a true one-shot KO artist if I've ever seen one a gift from God himself. His power would be too much for Margo.

Cotto would beat Clottey because all Clottey does is sit there and wait for counters. Clottey might be stronger but that is also a big if. Cotto is too good offensively for you to just sit there and cover up. And Clottey doesn't have fight ending power.

Paul Williams would beat Cotto but that's the only other guy besides Margarito. And Paul wouldn't walk through Cotto's punches to do it. He'd either box from a distance or get his ass handed to him.

I ask you again. Who would walk through Cotto's offense besides Margarito? I'm not talking about boxing and moving to win a decision. I'm talking them doing the same thing Margarito did for 10-12 rounds.

That's the same as my pick. I think that Jackson might get shook a few times in the fight though but Margo is no Mc Clellan and I doubt he catches Jackson like Mc Callum did either. Jackson doesn't have a good record against guys that start with Mc. Jacksons hooks were harder than Hearns but Hearns straight right was harder then Jacksons. Jackson vs Trinidad would've been a wild fight. Trinidad is a very good boxer but I do agree with Pitt as Jackson being the heavier puncher over Trinidad.

Jackson by quick KO, to much power for Margarito

I just don't see any present welter weight to date that would be able to stand in-front of jackson , tito comes close but not enough to beat jackson , tito come forward style and his willingness to exchange punches early would only serve to get him KOed.

you mean a fighter who never risked his reputation on the world stage has props over one who has earned it.

    is that what you mean?

You're most likely right. I think both guys would shake eachother though and Trinidad would have to give angles but in the end I see Trinidad probably getting ko'd even though Hopkins is the only one to stop him and that was in the twelfth.
