The doctors win.... if they could save Canelo's life whilst in the ICU they deserve credit.

Tough call, but I'd favor Canelo Alvarez in an exciting fight.

    :lol::rofl:lol::rofl

Tough fight to watch if you like Canelo.

Jackson would send Canelo back to Guadalajara in a box.

Either way it would be a brutal KO. Personally I think CA wins 6 outta 10.

Julian Jackson seems to get overrated on this forum.

I'm assuming you've never seen much a prime Jackson. Jackson had a better resume than Canelo and beat better fighters, so you tell ME who's overrated. Canelo would've had a tough fight with Buster Drayton for Christ sake.

Jackson never lost to a smaller man. And by smaller, I mean shorter. Canelo's midget ass would be on the end of Jackson's bombs, and he'd be history.

Jackson had better technician skills than Canelo, and better movement. He'd dismantle him in the same fashion he did In Chul Baek.

After watching how passive and hittable Canelo was once again on Saturday, I have to go with Jackson. Canelo just really doesn't have a second gear. He fights the way he feels like, and that is usually enough against the guys he fights. Jackson not only hits harder, he is way busier than Canelo. (And, every bit as skilled). If Canelo fought like he did on Saturday, he definitely gets stopped. Quite frankly, if he fought more recklessly like he did against Kirkland, he gets stopped. Canelo is a good fighter. Jackson is a better one.

Jackson KO's Alvarez and then call out Golovkin. 6 months later poor Jackson is stretchered out of the ring.

Yeah, if Canelo can't take out the fragile chinned Cotto, then I see Jackson handling his shots well.

The difference between Jackson and Cotto, outside of power, is that Julian wasn't a midget with small arms. He was 5'11, and had a longer reach than Canelo.

I don't see Canelo handling Jackson's for long.

Jackson, too quick and powerful for Alvarez who doesn't have the defence or speed for this one

I'm leaning towards Alvarez. While Jackson had enough power to knock a man back into the stone age, he had poor defense, average skill and in all honesty fought a lot of weak opposition. Alvarez is a more well rounded entity.

I think people underrate Canelo, the kid is only 25 and his resume is already pretty good. Cotto was able to hit him, but it seemed to me Alvarez decided he could take the shots and just tried to walk him down. Cotto stayed on his bike for most of the fight, that's the reason he survived. When he tried to slug it out with the mexican in the 8th round he took a beating a decided he wouldnt do it again.

Cotto is old and rather small though, I would like to Canelo fight some big and strong middleweights to see how strong he really is. Until he does Jackson should start the favorite. I think that will change though. I didnt think much of him in the beginning, but Im getting more and more impressed with Canelo, his combinations are great. It's rare to see fighter that uses the uppercut that well.

Like everyone else I hope we get to see him fight Golovkin soon. But I think the kid should take atleast two tune up fights with some solid middleweights before he does. Hopefully we get to see it late next year or early 2017.

Jackson knocks him out. He was a better fighter and although Canelo has made some improvements defensively, it's not like he's a Mayweather or Locche defensively.

Jackson will land hard and clean enough to stop Canelo.

Canelo does have a size advantage, but unlike McClellan, I don't think that size advantage will be enough here against Jackson.
