Jackson.... But it is a close call...... If Moore lands first, Jackson could go........... But I still say Jackson at 154...... MR.BILL
Moore would have to take Jackson out FAST. Moore's defense was average and he loved to war. Jackson's power is just irresistable and if he gets the upper hand early and lands some bombs how many are going to survive? Jackson could go too, but i'm not sure Moore could get him out of there cleanly enough. I'd take Jackson i think.
In addition to the brutal power... I also think Jackson had the edge in handspeed over Moore. And Julian was quite an underrated boxer.
Which is exactly why i think he would get too much clean leather in on Moore. Not many in history are taking those punches.
Jackson in a one-sided KO win, as he more than had the power for the quick kill. Davey puts up a valiant effort before being laid out-and rather early.
It would be silly to pick anything other then Jackson by brutal KO...however Davey did have a punch on him...Him winning 1 time out of 10 isnt a crazy proposition.
Like said before, Moore would have to land early, and I think he's talented enough to do it.Moore Ko 3 Jackson.
Moore did take out Charlie Weir who was a bomber and I think his chin was better than Jackson, but his defense was leaky and no one's chin was good enough to take Jackson's Sunday punch. Look at this right hand bomb of Davey Moore: [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=emMo0J-I-6k[/ame] 3:00
Moore was no slickster and he liked to mix it up too much for my liking to give him much of a chance vs Jackson, methinks he gets sent to la-la land sometime before the 5th round.
