Power Puncher vs Buzzsaw attacker at MW. Who takes this? Would Jackson be able to land a devastating blow on Tiger like Foster did or does Tiger overwhelm Jackson? Great match up.

A punch from Jackson can stop just about anyone at 160 but barring that I think Tiger finds a way to take him out

I wouldn’t call Tiger a buzz saw he was a pretty methodical guy until stirred or forced into a fight so to speak. He would still wreck Julian however.

Interesting fight. Tiger was a physically strong guy that methodically applied pressure and pushed guys back. Jackson was at his best with a guy right in front of his incredible power. If Tiger can move him backward with his pressure he could neutralize that power but more than likely he is going to eat some huge shots. I hate picking against Tiger but I like Jackson to connect with that power.

Tiger for mine. Hurricane Carter hit as hard as anyone you could name at 160 and Tiger powdered his backside. He’d do similar to JJ who wasn’t at his very best weight at 160.

That fight with Ruben was great- Carter couldn’t fight on the back foot and was losing the “boxing match” he kept going in spurts and being reminded who was boss. Carter was forced to retreat and was beaten like a rug every time he tried to engage.

I'm not terribly high on Tiger. I view him as a very powerful and tough fighter that only knew how to fight one way, going forward and trading bombs. He had specific weaknesses to boxers, guys fleet of foot and guys with a good jab. He wasn't very fast.

That said: Jackson is not those men. He too seeks to blast his opponents out of there and wants to trade.

I think JJ is the faster, more explosive hitter out of the two but Tiger seems to me to be the much more durable.

I think Jackson would start the fight with bombs, but the guy getting blown out of there would be him as well.

I'd take Tiger by knockout on a slobberknocker of a contest where Jackson's chin eventually fails him.*

Of course if there's a guy you'd pick to crack Tiger's chin it would be JJ. I don't exclude the possibility of the Hawk winning by KO either.

I'll go with the consensus here. Henry Hank and Rubin Carter, were noted punchers,
Tiger walked right through them without much difficulties. Also the naturally bigger Jose
Torres though not a devastating puncher, was a good solid Lt. heavy but he
didn't hurt Tiger. (A real testimony to just how hard Foster could hit, ko'ing
    Tiger the way he did)
This fight would would go to the quicker sharper punching J.Jackson early on.
It would look promising for Jackson as he unleashed his devastating combo
punching on Tiger perhaps staggering him a bit.
But the tide would turn about the 5th - 6th rd as Jackson begins to exhaust himself
looking for the spectacular ko that never comes.....
By the 9th,10th rd the fight would completely shift and the hunter will become
the hunted Tiger would be coming on strong. By the 11th rd it's all Tiger .
The ref will stop the fight for Tiger between the 11th and 15th rd.
