This is like asking Did Ron Lyle hit harder than M.Tyson...ofcourse he did but Tyson was the most skilful....these GGG haters realy start foaming...calm down it didn't happen ...
Jackson. Triple G hits damn hard, but JJ is one of the hardest hitters that ever walked the earth! I tend to think Golovkin would beat him head to head just on the better chin and Jackson was a small middle in any event (he was figghting back at welter a few years after losing the title). But JJ is one of the few fighters I look at and think he could take GGG out.
Jackson didn't just get stoppage wins. He wrecked guys. GGG fearsome puncher but Jackson is an ATG great puncher. Jackson might have the best list of wins as well - but that's another debate
As a MW True. Seems some forgot or didn't know he is listed a Jr middle. This content is protected 3:20 into the clip they bare witness :Gman the only one on this card who had trouble making weight. Fight night he is closer to 180lbs. Says this is his last fight at MW." That means to me Julian couldn't KO a LHW posing as a MW. Technically 180 is low end cruiser Such an unfair advantage. As far as MW's like Tate I say Can't KO em all, Thomas was a good enough boxer to keep from being hit flush. 3G better power @ MW cause that's his division. Punch for Punch P4P JJ has the most explosive 1punch KO's over 3G or any other KO artist regardless of their division IMO.
Jackson much smaller. P4P he is one of the hardest punchers ever. GGG prob hits just as hard being the bigger man and all.
Listen, the rule of thumb is that 'vintage' American fighters, particularly of a certain background, are superior to any current fighters in any area you can imagine. There's no way anyone, certainly not those from the Eurasian geographical region, could have trained longer and more technically, be bigger, stronger, have better coaching, have more high level amateur experience and so on. Americans need their myths. This is the same place that gave us Dances With Wolves, don't forget.
Jackson isn't American. He is from the Virgin Islands. And, punch for punch he hit harder than GGG. Despite the size advantage.
When Jackson ironed out Herol Graham I thought that's it the bombers brain is porridge. I think GGG beats Jackson but Jackson hits harder with single shots.
If you count in the actual size disparage between the two, then I still consider JJ the harder puncher. In other words, if their punches in the ring were measured shot for shot on that machine that registers punch power, JJ would have a higher number. If that makes sense.
