Similar to the Benn v Barkley fight imo. Jackson walking right in and the attack and Iran straight back at him. Both guys rocked and hurt but Jackson having the final say. Maybe a little longer this fight than the one with Benn.
    Jackson wko 2.

I agree with Fergy. Barkley is a tough customer, but, he is just too hittable. You can't let Julian Jackson unload on you. Jackson KO.

I agree that Barkley is more xposed, but he won a lot of tough fights. Jackson won a few, but not many.

    Barkley is bigger and tougher.
    I’ll go with Barkley.

Have to agree, can’t see the hittable Barkley taking an onslaught from Jackson

Its an odd quirk ...i see Jackson as the superior fighter with the superior resume...but h2h i see Barkley beating him...likely on cuts in round 9 or 10..Iran is hurt early several times early.....but survives by reverting to his underrated boxing skills..... than mauls him to a loss on eye damage.....iran would smother jackson not giving hik the room he needs

Jackson isn't as wild as Benn but he's more pinpoint accurate, which still isn't good news for Barkley.

I really liked Jackson's distance performance against the extremely durable Thomas Tate. I think he could do the same against Barkley... if not find that sweet spot at some point. Julian shipped punches at lightning speed. I just never saw Barkley display the defensive instincts to get out of the way of those. Duran could have gone the distance. But Barkley would have gotten tagged enough to at least lose the decision.

It would be one of those short but thrilling contests sort of like Hagler vs Hearns or Foreman vs Lyle

    Barkley.
Julian didn't have Hearns' power....slightly less but his arsenal is vastly inferior to Hearns. He wouldn't have the IQ i think to keep Barkley off.
